Exactly...Its totally weird especially as the heated steering wheel and armrests are bundled together in the US and Europe I beleive.

You are quite right. Thing is ,I never put my windows down, but if I did,that rear quarter would irritate me ( a little).

It looks particularly good in bright sunshine. I would have preferred heated steering wheels to the armrests.

I did not ask him specifically but I do recollect him saying the car was owned by MB UK... I believe he said it was a "show car for MB UK. He added that all mercs with KM registration were ex MB UK cars

I was surprised when the dealer confirmed the car had these features and massage front seats too!....I could not get any of these when I used the online configurator. Apparently the car was a MB UK specific car build. These options were not made available to individual buyers.

Here's mine. Picked it up just before the shut down. Mine comes with heated armrests and digital TV reception. I really like the night pack with the hyacinth red.
