Thanks for your help Sav. Picked up a new battery and fitted it inside the container today.....god it was just not hot enough inside that thing! So just got to wait and get it inspected by customs now and pay a wedge of tax on my own car! Grrrr...... Still, I reckon it does look good in the sun!

Great right up mate and sounds a hoot. Were Tudu's front brakes not from a CLK63 rather than a C63? Not trying to pick you up, just interested as I did not think C63 calipers fit a W203 chassis. Terry

They can never be that bad that some wire wool and Autosol, coupled with alot of elbow grease will no rectify. And you could also use a polishing wheel that goes onto a corless drill for good measure!

Totally agree with all the comments, Jacks work is second to none! Not even 1 flaw in the wheel, spot on!

It was straight forward enough. Just a lot of trimming out the back of the wheel, where the buttons used to be.

Got it done by Royal Steering Wheels for £110. He sent me a temp wheel, and it took him a week. Really is top notch work and a good price I reckon!
