No memory seat pre set buttons

Thanks markjay, if you follow the contact form and send your VIN number I'll look up whether it's a sensible retrofit. All depends on the seats in the car ! R

    Sudden loss of Mercedes.Me functionality

No 3G or 4G = no live traffic (one of our customers lives in an area with no 3G) - so when 3G goes, if you have a 3g only module there will be no live traffic. Also, Mercedes won't let you re-subscribe to live traffic if you don't have the 4G/LTE module Richard

    Sudden loss of Mercedes.Me functionality

We've sorted changing from code 360 (Hermes 1.5 3G) to code 362 (Hermes 1.5 4G/LTE) on E class W213 with COMAND (531) and it will also work for cars with the later Audio-20 (506). I'm being specific because there is also 350 (older) and for some reason the 4G module with the USB interface to...

    Sudden loss of Mercedes.Me functionality

That would require new software development on older systems. No chance of them doing that, they want you to buy a new car!!

NTG 4.5 Map Download - Question

You will need to buy a licence. The map that is on your system is licenced to the VIN for the car it came from. so no map is enabled, so there's no way to even re-install the map that is on the HDD without a licence key for that map matching the current VIN. Richard

    Non-OEM Parking sensor Harness W238

    Digital dash nav display fault

Quite probably a firmware issue, or the cabling between COMAND and the instrument cluster control unit - so a dealer job as it's under warranty. Are you enjoying the EQE ? R

    2007 E350 Nav System?

But his is 2007 and works completely differently and needs a disk installed in the nav drive in the boot (trunk) where it has to stay. As the OP is in USA I don't know the last map release for his car, but Europe it would be 2018/2019 which may be new enough to keep the OP happy for a couple...

    W176 speakers

Did you get the positive and negative the correct way round ? Black-stripe on modern Merc speaker leads is positive. Brown stripe on older merc is negative. (the other is the solid colour, so you wont have both black and brown on a car) - many assume the black stripe is negative and its...

    Missing Hermes Communication Control Unit

I'm pretty sure (but have not tried) that you can't use a used unit because it has an e-sim in it and that all gets linked into the Mercedes back-end database for online services (used to be called the DVB, Daimler vehicle backend). I.e I have only installed the odd new unit. It then needs...

Android Auto on Merc E class C238 2019 has mind of its own

Get a new high quality cable and try that. 90% of problems are that or the phone needs a reboot. R

    Main battery replacrment

I'm writing my usual warning here: Remove the negative battery terminal connection completely before going near the positive. And install the negative last when re-installing. If/Once negative connected do not go near positive with anything metal as the body is negative and spanner can short...

Random intermittent Comand centre, I.e. radio, satnav and reversing not working

It could be a failing COMAND system, or a failing battery (have you checked the battery voltage as and after you have started it), or a failing battery sensor reporting the wrong voltage on the car's CAN network so the stereo decides not to turn on, (plus a load of other stuff). You need...

Option 354 antenna for telephone d/e-net

Yes. Phone only. There’s no dab antenna on your car. There’s gps with a HRS connector if you have COMAND (but you don’t). If your new radio has a gps antenna put it on top of the instrument cluster but below the dashboard (it sees through plastic and glass but not metal).

Option 354 antenna for telephone d/e-net

It means you have a GSM antenna on the car. D-netz and E-netz were the early German telecoms network. It makes no difference for what you wish to do.
