W211 E280 Curious issue / Cuts out on aggressive/sharp right hand corners.

Sorted it last weekend. One of the connectors to the fuel rail had a nick in the wire exposing bare wire that had worked itself out slightly, on the turn it was shorting against ground and cutting power on that rail. Sorted the wire, made safe and been fine since, no issues on that run or any...

W211 E280 Curious issue / Cuts out on aggressive/sharp right hand corners.

Fuel filter changed 3 weeks ago with minor service. Specifically requested as I suspected as such. Made no difference. I've tried to diagnose via full tank - it's hard because there's only particular road setups it happens and I don't do the routes that always brings it on daily. Plus I only...

W211 E280 Curious issue / Cuts out on aggressive/sharp right hand corners.

Hi, curious issue. 07 E280 Cuts out, as in revs fall off and absolute no power to engine, effectively feels like it stalls for a second when I take a really tight R/H corner at speed. Think 60mph with rapid slow down hard on the brakes to turn right into a T junction. No ESP lights or warning...

S211 Rear air springs - Malfunction

Thanks Chris Yep working great, rear arches at same level from wheels both rear sides, gap not too big not too narrow and rides better than it ever has so definitely feels like just a setting/calib thing somewhere.

S211 Rear air springs - Malfunction

Indy or main dealer? What did they do hook it up to star and run a calibration routine? My place was small local garage whom I trust but they definitely won't have the STAR kit. Happy to take it to indy for the final 'chapter' of this but just want to know what I'm asking for.

S211 Rear air springs - Malfunction

Hi all I had my rear air springs with Arnott replacements as on cold nights after some hours the back left side would drop considerably with the warning next time 'car too low'. Each morning start up, it'd level itself up and all good until left for 12 hours or such again overnight. So...

    E280 - 5 Spoke 06 OEMs on 07 Facelift Sport?

Hi all, As titled really, I have a 2007 E280 Sport Wagon, with the large diameter low profile wheels (image blow) with the wider rears vs fronts. As a result of crap roads locally I have a buckled front lh, and recently had two rears welded at differing times due to cracks which caused slow...

    W211 E280 CDI Brabus Box

It's made by Brabus specifically for the E280 so unlike third party tuning boxes I;m fairly confident it does what Brabus claims, you feel differently?

    W211 E280 CDI Brabus Box

Hi Flash I agree, but the few reputable ones here in the southwest have not responded to my queries on what they can do for my e280 and availability over next few weeks etc so thought a Brabus PnP option would be a good solution.

    W211 E280 CDI Brabus Box

Hi all, Looking for one of these if anyone has one or moving their car on and looking to have one in the near future? Also any experiences on this box from anyone using one? I believe the one I need for my 07 E280 7g Sport is : d5 - 211-735-00 ? Seems a few on eBay for the e320 but e280 seem...

Hi W1ghty, Thanks for reporting back. My Thermo does not move when up to temp (good) Tyre pressures confirmed good, No wheels getting hot (eg no brakes seem to be sticking) Airfilters next. Is yours the Wagon? People suggest 3-4 mpg lower on the wagons. Separate note - Gotta say this gearbox...

Morning. Thank you! Just done 30 mins on motorway after warm up, about 36/37mpg was best I could achieve, cruise at 75mph Must note, I keep AC permanently on. Will change filters soon. ETA looks like it might be bang on where it's meant to be according to realmpg...

Hi W1ghty, Thanks for your input, sorry I'm late to reply. 32 is the commute to and from work, very little start stop but windey country lanes - 18 minutes. Thermo reaches temp well and holds steady exactly at the area I would expect (1 bar above 80) - thinking if MPG is lower than expected...
