SDRY has rallied today a bit. If you are still in I'd be inclined to get out now.

So banning cigarettes would appear to be a sensible solution, based on the above argument? :dk:

This is post 539. Doesn't really have any useful comment. It says you bought, and thats it. Did you sell then? You posted after this about buyers etc. implying you were still in.:dk:

Not sure what comments about Sdry you are referring to. Anyway here’s the latest. Another one bites the dust. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cl7ledeq02wo

Audioboom reports fall in revenues and makes loss. In other news, Superdry's founder is not bidding for it and looks like this one will also possibly fail in the near future, with £100m of debt and a valuation of less than £14m now.

    New To Me E220?

V90 is very nice but is a bit of a barge. Makes the E class seem very nimble

Ok, I see what you mean. You are looking at the whole data and effectively regressing it all.

I didn't say the science was showing a downward trend, merely that the graph was. I have no theory. I just see a line starting to turn down. You are the one that seems to think a line turning down is not a decline! All the comment you make above is just speculation. I'm happy if its a blip and...

DrNick said: Life expectancy is also falling according to a report published today. Looks to me like the trend has turned downwards. Happy to see some evidence as to why you think this is not a downward trend. I haven't done the research so could well be wrong, but your statement seems to...

I said there were loads of caveats. Not having enough spare cash being one of them. You can choose to pay more in later if you want. The whole thing is full of unknowns.

Take your age, divide it by 2 and that's the percentage you should be putting into a pension. Loads of caveats but as a ball park figure its a good place to start. Includes company contributions.

It will be solved (partially at least) by the move to Personal Pension Plans. As more people actually start to pay into pensions (which ARE actually a pot of ringfenced money - in principle anyway) there will be more scope for financial shenanigans on the state pension as it moves to be a...

I agree a12 month measure isn't particularly useful, but it is available and shows a general trend. However, it can change overnight as some of these shares have done. BOOM has dropped 6% today so far but has risen more than that over the last few months as an example. Any trends are not that...

As I say, its not the complete list. I don't think Yu has been discussed for a year yet - it was certainly a later addition and I haven't been religious in tracking them all. Likewise the fizzy drink company. There may be others. Feel free to correct any omissions!

Here's a 1 year summary of some of the shares mentioned on here over the last 12 months. Not all of them but a good chunk. I'm making no comment other than its all in the timing.
