I'll get a specialist to look at it and if damaged by the fitting process, I'll give Kwik Fit the bill (or try at least). If I drive my car will it do more damage.

Hi All The compartment that can be fitted with a cup holder, has a push release mechanism on the lid, which is currently not pushing or realising unless you use both hands and jiggle it about. I can't really see how it works. Can anuone tell me how to fix the problem? Cheers

Thanks guys. I phoned Robinsons Mercedes who didn't know either until one of them looked at a similar model and told me there is no illumination. At least I know it's as it should be and nothing's wrong.

It's disapointing to hear about Millenium. They are closer to me than Autotechnic and I was going to give them a try, as Autotechnic's prices seem to be increasing all the time. Don't think I'll bother now because at least you know Autotechnic do a good job, even if they did try the old trick...

Just so I know I'm not imagining things, is the headlight switch illuminated or not. I'm sure I have seen the little icons lit up around the switch and now they're not. If they are meant to be lit and I'm not going mad, is it likely to be a bulb and if so how easy is it to replace?

Is Merc Parktronic similar to BMW where a graphical representation of the car is shown on screen (command) and if so can it be retro fitted. Can anyone recommend a company or individual to do this?

Would an air con service cure the bad egg smell that I get , mainly when first started. I used one of the anti fungal sprays twice but the smell has come back.
