    W211 2007 audio 20 replacement.

    Did you get given a ballpark figure to replace Audio 20 with an Android unit? I've also got a FM transmitter at the minute and it's decent but I was thinking about swapping in an android unit for better usability and syncing with my phone.

    That's weird. I replaced the stat on mine with a part directly from Mercedes and the ball wasn't present.

    Replaced the brake light switch and no more errors 👍 Looking at the faulty switch the lever is jammed down so fairly certain that's seen to the issue. In all £25 for the part and 10 mins for the job. Thanks all for the help.

    Yeah I reset the tyre pressure monitor as well. I checked the battery voltage just now and it's 12.6V which seems fine? Have it booked in at the garage tomorrow so hopefully can narrow down the root cause. Appreciate the help.

    W211 Engine Warning Light - Limp mode

    +1 on starting out with the thermostat replacement. You should be running at either 87 or 92 degrees depending on the thermostat (factory stat is 87). It might not be the cause of all of your issues but it's one issue and a good starting point.
