I forgot to ask, How much of the car would have AMG trim if it is an optional add on?

I currently own a 1999 c230k manual with classic trim and have been offered a 1997 c230k sport with AMG kit. Did merc offer this car with an AMG trim option at that time? He wants £500 for it, so I think its worth it just for the bits, if they are geniune.

Will a B12 kit make my car lower than it is currently? Not forgetting it has lower than normal suspension at the moment.

I have been made aware of high corrosion on my springs and two of my shocks. I have a c230k 1996 Esprite, it has the slightly lower suspension. I would ideally like to get her a little lower and fit new springs and shocks all round. Any recomends on new sports suspension for my 202? thanks Paul

Sorted. Took back to the merc man and he removed the throtle body, cleaned it up and adjusted something call a pessim.... something or other (it controls the idle) he reset everything with his laptop and it is working fine again. No charge, which is nice. Fingers crossed.

There is a green relay with a fuse biult in 30a, just nr the battery. These seem to be ok, remove the relay and you can here a clicking sound from under the polystireen deeper in the boot. Checked connections in the area, everything seems to be in order.
