    I did hear the back roads through Moodiesburn, Cumbernauld, Castlecary, Allandale and Falkirk were all clear and driveable - but was not willing to take the risk of getting stranded as the poilice and other services were only on the main routes.

    Well my day yesterday started off as going to work, it was good weather the weekend and we were only expecting a light flurry on Monday, so the drive in was ok. Then it started, big white fluffy stuff falling from the sky, the rest of the day consisted of leaving work (Denistoun in Glasgow)...
