I have a VW Sharan,Tdi se 115bhp,i have had it from new,done 120k in 2 years ,no problems at all.SE spec includes 2 built in seats that convert into baby seats or just a booster seat. Only downside is with all seats up the boot space is limited,but still enough room for a buggy.get 30+mpg round...

Thinking of trading CLK for a CL ,1999-2002 any advice please on what to look for etc.Do they have similar rust problems to my CLK?

Just been out for a drive and the beast revved to 5500 to 6000 verysmoothly . Panic over

Just started my beast(i have been away).When warmed up i revved the engine and it would not go past about 4500 revs is this normal?

Just picked car up ,had new starter motor power cable fitted by MERTECH in Chatham.Cost £47.

Went to start the beast today ,just clicking when turning key. Phoned RAC ,tried battery , ok . Jacked up car and found cable from battery to starter motor had corroded all the way through.He found this straight away (is this a common fault). Anyone any idea on cost of repair.

Bulb needs replacing,instructions ot in handbook ,cant see how to get in to change the bulb .someone must know!

The car is a1999 V plate,no signs of rust any where else.

Look like they could be stone chips. there are no stone chips on bumper or bonnet .Would they be easy to sort out

Washed my new toy today for the first time (only had it 3 days). When i dried it off noticed about 6 rust spots on the front of the roof ,they had been disguised by polish or t cut or something .Anyone one any ideas what may have caused them or what repair bill to put right.

Took delivery of a 1999 Silver CLK 230K Elegance this afternoon. After 3 weeks of looking think i have found a good one.Will post pics later,to busy showing off at the moment.

Buying a 2000 CLK 230K there is no cd changer in the boot , there is the cable .Any ideas where i might get one or would any be compatible.

Front passenger seat stitching come apart (not ripped) need seam re-stitching (two tone leather seat).Anyone know anyone in kent area who can do upholstery repairs.
