Hello benz. When you do find what tyres you want and get them fitted, dont worry about rotating them because they develop memory due to the vehicles suspension geometry and usage. Rotation would inevitably upset road holding and handling.

Could be a dirty fuel filter. The bump could have dislodged a build of silt in the tank which is causing fuel starvation when you demand!

Are you sure the meter was read correctly when you first moved in and you are not being billed for the previous occupants last six months on top of your own? I would be finding out what the previous usage was per annum.

Sounds strangely familiar. I had a "skipping feeling" on a couple of occasions on half right hand lock, no feeling on left hand lock. What could this be? Regards Andy

Hiya Lee I think what you are looking for is a tool to remove the plug caps? All you need is a 17 mm spanner to aid removal of caps, then it is the correct plug socket with a small extension. Regards Andy

I got an original Bosch MAF from Euro Car Parts for my 320 CLK. Asked for the best price and it came back at £82.99 plus VAT. The list price is £242.25 plus VAT, so I got down there quickly. The same MAF on ebay from germany is £184.90 Plus P+P. Regards Andy.

Very true, engineering in general has been in recession in this country for the last 20 years, which has been the pivotal base for the export market in manufacturing. It has been the important work by the producers that did hold the economy together, and were the foundations and building blocks...

New Bosch MAF fitted and the car is performing better than I could ever had anticipated. No comparison whatsoever with what I thought was a normal running CLK320 after buying the copy part, and it didnt cost much more to achieve these amazing results.

Best out of season though so we have the roads to ourselves instead of sitting in traffic jams.
