My W124 E300d multivalve failed its MOT as the front mounts of the rear sub frame were very corroded and on the off side they were rusted through so even when jacking the rear the wheel stayed on the floor. The near side wasnt rusted through but it was on its way. No sign off this on the MOT 12...

ok sorted now. The culprits were the rear lights. they are 10w rated and i had 5w in one of them. All the other bulbs in the rear clusters are the same - 21w so harder to get them wrong. probably a common thing as then checked my 190 which have the same rear bulbs which should be 10w and both...

right well if that is true it is either rear or side lights for me...but is this how the error circuit works for sure?? could it possibly do a quick spot check of every circuit and find an error or is it only when that lamp is activated, i.e. has power? are interior bulbs definitely not...
