Can you elaborate? My c-class has been eating its suspension components lately including snapping the roll bar and has always been pretty much an axle set of springs every 12 to 18 months. A couple of sub £500 repairs (at an indy) a year or so I can live with but is this in the ball park?

Have to drop a note to recommend SPR Autos in Stockport, Mercedes specialists.... Very reasonable, friendly and helpful. Fixed my snapped anti roll bar and front coil springs in the last couple of weeks, very happy with both the work done and the prices - cheers lads

Further to this I bought a full set of four of the springs that break off ebay this week to fix the osr door that broke a while ago. Although the springs probably cost more than their weight in gold (£24 for the set with instructions and a'tool' from i6auto) this is a hell of a lot less than new...

Handbrake sorted! Popped out of adjuster under seat. Looks like wobble is either dodgy tyre (hopefully) or a buckled AMG alloy (hopefully not)! That's what you get for swerving to avoid barbie on her mobile phone!!! (and mounting a kerb in the process).... Thanks to all for advice
