Priced at that level despite being covered in crappy 'styling' additions, he's clearly in no rush to sell it!! About the only bit on it with any appeal is the AMG steerling wheel but even that looks to have been mucked about with - whats with the pronounced bands on the steering wheel rim...

Nice car but the badges on the boot seem to misaligned, maybe it's had a rear end shunt at some point? Bootlid also looks slightly misaligned in some of the pics

Very interesting car - looks like a coachbuilt special rather than a MB product? Clearly been done to a very high standard, as evidenced by the 'estate' boot badge, though the lines of the estate conversion just don't quite flow with the rest of the car IMO

It's pretty bad all over London as far as I can see - maybe it's a new form of the dreaded 'traffic calming' on the cheap!

Sounds like a useful item but does make you wonder that if there was such a problem with swarf in engine oil, wouldnt the sump plug have a magneic element (as some manual grearboxes have) as OEM?

Thanks Dec - i've never had to use the red fob so far, it's function isn't mentioned in the owners manual at all. I'll give it a try through. I presumed is was used to reset the alarm?! Much prefer the older Merc Scorpion alarms with the cylindrical key that you could use to turn the alarm off...

Update - Well, have fitted new batteries to the block key and nothing has changed, am still getting the slow flashing red light in the rear view mirror surround for a couple of minutes after start up. Does anyone know what might cause this and what i can check next? this one has got me...
