Yesterday a few of the instruments readings on my W124 stopped working. Fuel, oil pressure, temperature - all kaput :mad: But, the speedo still works, as does the odometer.:) The rev counter is also bust:(, but the clock is still keeping excellent time:cool:.....Any ideas on cause and fix?

Another happy customer of Olly's. Took my car down to Horndean, from London, and PCS sorted out its suspension, rear diff, blower and various other bits and pieces. The car now drives beautifully. :) Although PCS isn't the most convenient place to take my car, I'll certainly be returning...

Every day I see at least one W202 and quite often up to 3 or 4 of these models during my 20 minute cycle in central London. In contrast I rarely see the similar age E or S classes. I'm guessing more of these "c" classes were made, but they really do seem to have very high survival rates. So...

The middle rear headrest in my W124 estate is stuck, I can't pull it out. I've tried depressing the button to release it, but there is no give. Would it be worth dripping a bit of oil down the hole or does it need more brute force?:confused:

Saw a lovely W124 (C124) convertible - it was an N reg, silver, black leather and black roof, e320 sportline with 11k miles on the clock -- owner apparently looking for 17,000 pounds. Now I know the Boss' cab has the heritage grill :)- but that can't be worth more than a couple of grand, can it?;)
