Yes, if the car has cats fitted then they should be fitted when it goes for MOT. Doubtful! Mine was MOT`d when i picked it up so no idea on emissions but don`t think it would pass without Cats. Bob

Sorry i was assuming we were talking about a flat battery! If you keep driving and using the car then yes the battery will remain topped up but from flat a trickle charge is the only way to get a battery completley charged. Bob

I would say none of the above!! You can`t completley charge a battery by driving, give it a good trickle charge overnight is the best way. Bob

OE- original equipment Can system is what is fitted in alot of modern cars, they are 2 wires (Can Hi and Can Lo that can control upto 32 different functions on the car by sending different signals, one being an ignition or switched feed as it isn`t 12 volts. You need to find a full 12v ignition...

Thats because the OE is powered by the Can system, take a feed from the ciggy lighter or fuse box and power it up. (in-line fuse would be a good idea!) Bob
