Problem sorted - took off the underside of the passenger footwell/dash cover. Pulled out the large filter to the side of the fan motor and a heap of debri made up of dust, leaves and all sorts fell out of the filter. Cleaned the filter up and then took the cover of the fan motor, turned on the...

A few days ago my heater fan stopped working, then a couple of days later it worked. It's now stopped working again and refuses to come on. I've checked fuse number 14 and that seems ok, any other pointers - where is the actual fan motor itself? Thanks in advance.

Easiest thing to do, once you've repaired it is put a couple of exhaust clips over the patch, try and get the clips with the flattened band, they should help seal it plus making it look better than just a patch aswell as helping you through the winter.

All in all, I'm very pleased with how the car is coming together and how I can now walk to my car without any niggly little things staring back at me. Now onto the interior and a couple of mechanical jobs.

They also gave the car an exterior valet. They have a valet company attached and advised me that the interior, although up together other than a new gear knob and one other item to make perfect, could do with a good clean with the proper cleaners. Obviously another selling point for them, but...
