i'm still not convinced its a retrim but either way, i love it in its current trim colour! i'd happily pay about £13-14k tops if its as good as it looks but still a long way off his wants! btw there is another w208 55 convertible on autotrader at the mo. more miles and not so special but far...

    190E Evolution II

could have been water/fire damage making it cat C rather than accident as such? still a bit naughty. How do you know its defo cat C? never ever seen one before - its a bit 'marmite!'

yes you do have to pay the VAT, and yeah the £ is a bit rubbish (but as said, better than it has been!) :)

    Nokia E71 and the 3 network ???

i have a E71 on 3 and generally quite pleased with it. The 3 network is FAR better than it used to be. Was last with them about 5 years ago and the coverage wasnt great but since I've had this phone (about 6 months) I've never once had a problem with coverage. The phone itself is a bit of a...

    ML55... heart over head??

yeah its pre facelift, but is a one owner car with low miles an fMBsh. The pre-facelift thing is the only real thing putting me off tbh. Still its available for £9k(!!!). (yes the new ML420cdi is well over what i'll be spending :) ). Apart from the headlights and mirrors what other differences...

    ML55... heart over head??

haha thanks - yeah nobody could ever say they need a ML55 over the 500 or even the 350... its a matter of 'because you can' lol. i think they are amazingly good value at the mo, although the kleeman one i have discovered has finally been sold! (circa £12k iirc!) Been looking at a 01 but...

    ML55... heart over head??

A little while ago I was half considering a C55 or CLK55... Well I've recently been driving my wifes runaround which is a 'SUV' style car and have grown to really enjoy the lofty position. That coupled with the point and squit-ness of the AMG lump has led me to the ML55. I know dynamically its...

'small' inheritance - what to do with it?

in a similar position as have just sold our old car with a lot less debt to pay off than we sold it for. Seeing as interest rates are so rubbish at the moment I think i'm gonna stick it in premium bonds(!) just so i can have some 'fun' with it. OK i may not make as much as i would in a bank/isa...
