Ok, Ive tried the 30 minute thing and its made no difference. It still starts but just loses revs and cuts out straight away, after doing it maybe 12 times, when the engine is getting warm it sits and ticks over as normal but then as soon as i use the accelerator or select drive it just dies...

Sorry... its a 111 engine. Whats a rocker cover, cant think off the top of my head?? Probably just having a thick moment!!

Im hoping someone can tell me where the camshaft sensor / magnet is in my w202. Been told to check if this is filled with oil etc as its a common fault. Out at the car just now and cant locate the camshaft sensor! Thanks

I probably will get it looked at. I dont want to sell it but i dont have the cash for any repair due to ill health. Im guessing its the ecu, could be something completely different thou!

Ok, after the problems with my W202 im thinking of selling. Its a 2000 C200 W202 with just under 124000 on the clock. In good condition with a full years mot and a few months tax. Basically my battery gave up the ghost and since replacing it ive no power, no revs etc. I think maybe the ecu has...

Following on from my last post, i took the battery out today to charge it fully then shut the boot! Now i cant get back in!! Ive oiled the lock etc and it turns and pushes in etc but still the boot doesnt want to open, its going to cause me a bit of hassle when i come to put the battery back in...

Would that not flatten the battery??

Yes ive got a multimeter, what can i check? Car wont sit for 30mins, just keeps stalling as it loses revs.
