W203 - back box worldwide shortage???

Unfortunately, the back box fell off my C180K this week  - got about 10 minutes warning of the exhaust blowing before it hit the deck. Local, well respected, exhaust fitters couldn't source the part, so phoned the local Indie who then told me he'd have to order it in and he'd phone me back...

Amazing what you can get in a Vito!

Have a few shots of Mampoer - that'll get you well on the way to 32 times the limit.

Official how long did it take you to travel within the central belt in scotland today

Some of my colleagues had to bunk down in the staff facilities at Glasgows finest 1500 bed public sector run hotel in Riddrie. At least they didn't have to try the journey home.

    Bluetooth and text messages.

Hi folks, got a W203 with bluetooth fitted and audio 20. Is there a way of reading text messages recieved when in the car. At the moment, the wee envelope icon pops up to let you know a text has been recieved, but even when the phone is disconnected (i.e. taken into the house) the text does...

Back from our trip in the B class (Holiday in Annecy France)

Got to admit I considered the B class before opting for my C class, but only because I wanted a car that "looked" like a mercedes. I think the B class is lovely, and it looks like the boot is cavernous. Looks like a nice holiday too.

    Star on bonnet

Not always the best thing to have as the yobs seem to think it's fun to try and rip it off occaisionally. Not happened to me yet, but I'd be happy enough with a star on the grill. Hope someone can answer your original question soon, and welcome to the MB club when you make your purchase.

Theft & fraud in the Workplace.

It's no surprise that financial institutions get ripped off, many years ago whilst working for the now largest banking group in Britain, I had the keys to the front door, the keys to the ATM and the combination for the ATM. I should only have had 2 out of three of these and could have walked off...

Hole in one, its never too late.

Nearest I've been is about a foot - I think I could play until I was 143 and still not get one. But there's always that thrill when you hit a good one at a par 3 :)

E Class 2003 wing mirror bulb... I think

I have this as in intermittent problem on my W203, usually fixed by giving the mirror a thump :thumb:. However, it's good to know that it's a relatively small job to fix it permanently.
