Tuningbox work well on the 200cdi, 220cdi and 350cdi! For the 250cdi forget it!!! Don't trust what tuners say. The gains are 10hp and 20Nm at maximum!!! If you chose other settings the cars go into limp mode. And this happened with several kinds of box, 1 channel, 2 channels and 3 channels...

Yes I remember that graph with >260bhp! But it was a line with too much oscillations, that would translate to acceleration cuts and lags when driving it!!!!!! And probably car would enter in safe mode in certain scenarios... And again the problem of presenting just the lines of the remap...

It depends where you measure the car!! I tested a 250cdi at one place and it gave 225bhp and in my benchmark place it gaves 200bhp!!! same car and same original software! I repeat! 260bhp from initial 200bhp are completely impossible! why those famous companies don't post the original...

When the DPF regenerates the smell comes from the back (exhaust)... There are some cases of problems with engine wiring. I think you need to check it....

Definitely the Prime Edition 250cdi (<06/2009) won't get the solenoid injectors!!! Mine were piezo ref 1287, now replaced by other piezo ref 2687...

As far as i know DTUk crd-t dual channel box has 4 programs, but there is one that is focused in the boost pressure increase. Did you try every program plus fine tuning? This new engine in fact doesn't admit big increases in power/torque, but i think there would be a setting in your DTUk box...

It's a typical behaviour for a 250cdi... at least a stock vehicle... In my 250 cdi remapped the frequency of regeneration of DPF reduced a lot... What's the reason? The remap increased the boost pressure, so in the fraction air/fuel, there is more air, and consequently it takes a lot more to DPF...
