I totally agree with you Stu:) I think the third or fourth owner usually will be stung badly if the car's maintenance has been neglected.Not just Mercedes,but every other manufacturer:crazy: Mind you,there's been many occasions I've seen new cars on the hard shoulders of the motorways:doh:

Yes,he's a very nice man:D My ML is booked in next Monday for some work. My brother has a Mercedes and my mum a VW.He'll be more than likely servicing their cars in the very near future:thumb:

Yes,so true.If your SL has only been at MB for work,you shouldn't experience these missing/broken bits and pieces.I would most definitely be very upset if that would happen to me. It's the little things that count/matter sometimes:) Even worst is when they don't admit doing the damage:mad: If...

My ML is quite stable on the motorway.But,much less stable on A and especially B roads:( Passed a lady today on the M25......bloody middle-lane hogger(s):doh: I HATE THEM:wallbash::mad::crazy:

Hmmm,seems a bit strange:confused: I've just had a B Service and been advised to change the rear pads. My car is a ML270 CDI 04 reg. This is my quote... Rear pads 64.43 Sensor 7.74 Cleaner 6.54 Labour 119.04 Total 197.75 + VAT MB Loughton,Essex.

Standard bodywork is boring.I love the AMG bodykit:D Yes,ride is only a little more bouncey than the smaller wheels. The ML's ride isn't the smoothest but definitely NOT the worst.BIG body-roll though. I love the AMG wheels:rock:

I've read about this problem on the american MB forums. They call it the 'machine gun' problem.Seems to happen more on earlier pre-facelift MLs.Hope that helps... I had a similar problem on my almera gti:mad: every now and then,especially when it rains or damp.Faulty/damp solenoid was the problem.

Are OMP (road & sport) rear brake pads (part no. OT/8027) any good? I've just saw a set for 46.50 with free delivery:) Also, EBC Red Stuff rear brake pads (part no. DP31395C) for 35.72 + P&P. The ATE pads from eurocarparts are 52.84 + VAT.

I agree.Looks like a 190E to me. The mileage is very nice,just a shame for the rest except for the POWER:D of course. The exhaust looks a bit dangling down.Not a bad price though.

Thanks for that BlackC55;) Mercedes-Benz says I'll need the sensor(s) and cleaner(?) as well. Do you think it's necessary? The rear pads are approximately 90% worn:eek: Rear pads 64.43 + VAT Sensor 7.74 + VAT Cleaner 6.54 + VAT Labour will be 119.04 + VAT. What do you think of these...
