is this the upstream one Jay? i thought its more into the engine bay?

Guys have been advised i need to replace the upstream oxygen sensor, any ideas on how to? Where abouts is it, and what else do i need to remove in prep for it? Any hints/tips gladly appreciated. Apparently this could be causing the misfire on my car when its idling.....:crazy:

Morning All, still have ongoing issues with my C220cdi 2004, Car has a misfire since the exhaust manifold was taken off. Basically i have had star machine on it and it diagnoses a fault with injector no.1 and oxygen sensor, have replaced injector which made no difference, had the old injector...

Yep thats what i was told to, extra carefull and no butter fingers...

Guy had it on a star machine last night, reports fault on injector 1. It picked up fault on Injector 1 and Oxygen sensor, managed to clear fault on oxygen sensor, so hoping that does not come on again.... Cleaned or reconditioned?

Billy, it is a bit of a pain as i had to remove turbo and loosen Cats to get to the manifold, had the stud drilled out by a merc specialist as it is a bit of a tricky job for me...

Had it on a star machine last night, confirmed it is a Injector, but fault also on oxygen sensor which he cleared. So need an Injector now, any recommendations?

Yes sorry it was exhaust manifold, any differ or ideas?

Just spoke to mechanic and the rail was not touched, as its not near the exhaust manifold??? Thats what i have been told anyhow....

Hi mate thanks for the response, not to sure as had someone else do the job for me. Defo no more air leak or a fuel leak. Is that the common rail?
