    Jack had to do some follow-on work to my 430 yesterday - brilliant service as usual (including new plugs, all 16 of them!!). This time I used the loan car, another Merc, of course! Thank you Olly, delighted as always with the work, and care and attention you give to everything you do.

    What's the best car Mercedes-Benz have ever made?

    My vote is for the CLK 430 Cab - understated presence compared to the 55AMG, but with all the qualities described above; power, comfort, performance and styling...but with the addition of a removable roof. Nothing quite like listening to that V8 with the roof down!!

    Reset Time after clock Fix

    Rees, I have just bought my 2000 CLK 430 and had to set the clock. I did it by a combination of up/down commands on the steering wheel and +\- commands. I'll go and check again and report back. Frustratingly my outside air temp display stopped illuminating today - stil works, just can't see...

    My 2000 CLK 430 conv has recently developed a problem lifting the roof. This happens, I would guess, once in 5 'lifts' and each time the lift stops after the front of the roof has lifted about 2-3" away from the windscreen. The remedy appears simple, just push the front of the roof up...
