    Best oil to use (Viscosity)

In a relatively high mileage car(200 000km ), what is the best oil viscosity to use in my 93 E320 . I do tow a lot and also get caught up in traffic from time to time. I currently use a 15W 40 (Castrol GTX2), but am worried that this might not be the ideal. I do change oil every 10000km. Car...

    The value of 124 estates

Have 2 of these incredible cars and can vouch for them. I paid for a 93 E320 wagon here in NZ, $NZ7000 (3500 pounds) a few years ago and my spend has only been tyres and oil/filters and plugs. My car tows a horse float (almost 2 ton) most weekends to shows and can say that it far surpasses any...

    Noisy Estate air compressor

Wonder if anyone can shed some light. On start up from cold my 93 E320 estate has a funny sound, much like the exhaust manifold has a hole in it (it seems the same as a compressor sucking air), then after 2 minutes or so it disappears, only appears again when the car is started from cold. Am I...

    W124 headlights Really bad

Lenses are definately plastic...This was a Jap import 2nd hand into New Zealand 10 years back, I think they have regs regarding using plastic lens in headlights for padestrian safety in accidents, hence limiting use of high wattage bulbs.

    W124 headlights Really bad

I have notived that my 93 E320 headlihts are not as bright as I would like them to be, on inspection it seems as if my lenses are the polycarb units and not glass, does this make a difference. should I just live with this, or change the bulbs to high performance ones?

    W124 E320 towing specifications

Thanks for that. Here in New Zealand we have different requirements , they also work on the manufacturers towing rates. But i agree, the tail wagging the dog is not what you want.
