Does any know of someone UK based that repairs the internals of a throttle body? I have done the wire harness repair, but there are bits inside that can also go wrong. I know of the guy in the US but was wondering if there is any UK based repair person first. Thanks

Just to update in case this helps someone in the future that the above issues were due to bad contacts on the back on the heater control unit. The unit was removed cleaned and put back together and all seems to be working fine now.

Is there not a risk with fire when the engine is hot using brake cleaner or similar products like carb cleaner or starter fluid? Can I not try with just water stayed around the inlet manifold. Also is removing the inlet manifold to inspect on these cars a big job?
