Folks, I have found a very nice set of 5 spoke alloys off a 2006 S class that look like they might fit my W211. They are 17 inch shod with 235 55 R 17's section tyres, alloys are the same width both front & rear (7.5j I think). Question is that they are ET43, and the current 16 inch wheels on...

For normal maintenance try using Baby wipes. They clean the dash surface without leaving any residue. If you want to go down the slippery route of getting a good kit of detailing products together then look at some of the cleaning interior cleaning products made by the likes of Poor Boys...

Maybe IF you place a Magnet on the gearbox control unit/ECU and drive the car for a considerable amount of time it could screw up the ECU and cause internal damage to the gearbox solenoids/valves??

Yes I gave their Colchester depot a call. A complete set for my W211 will cost me 495.00 plus VAT so have got a bt of saving up to do. Anyone that managed to get a kit cheaper, all I can say is you lucky beggars!!!

Worth searching E-bay, both .co.uk & .de (Germany) as dimming mirror glass does turn up from time to time.
