Hi about the wheels do they look highley polished like stainless steel

Can anyone help,i have a s class it as a cd player that was working well till i turned it of on sunday today o tried to play it , but no sound,it displays on the screen and changes track etc but no sound at all radio and tape plays well lookong for help h h
