cheapest i found from local supplier is £86.50 each plus vat. Seems they are charging alot of labour time for the fitting. Remeber we also had a VAT increase since February so that accounts for the odd 4 quid or so.

If its the older style flip out key, it will still be electronic and require batteries. I don't know of a flip out key by MB that doesn't. Did the Greenflag guy actually check the batteries? or just make a random assumption. It could be key or transponder. Star machine will eliminate the question.
