Searching underneath my '92 500 to try and find the source of a problem with my ADS I noticed a plastic lever arm switch under the rear axle, there is a couple of inches movement and I can feel a click when I move it up and down - does anyone know what this does?, is it part of the ADS?

My Sl500 has gone down at the rear end also, I will be watching this forum with interest as I have fluid in the resrvoir and when it first collapsed the fluid had gone down but now it is back up to the mark but still with the rear down

Car still sitting low at the mo, and there it will remain now until after Christmas!. Happy Christmas too all club members who read this JC

Thanks BTB, I tried that but to no avail, I am hoping to get a pair of axles stands soon and lift the rear end up, I have read elsewhere that the control arm switch(es) can be moved manually.... will update when I know more!

Hi Dals, I look forward to the answers on this thread, my R129 Sl500 is suddenly sitting low at the back, fluid level seems fine as does my ADS light, car has had battery disconnected for a while and has suffered lack of use but I am flummoxed as to the cause
