Is the thin 3 inch disk shaped object found on top of the engine under the black plastic cover the engine breather? If so is it okay to remove it and swill it out with white spirits? never been touched for at lest 6 years..

Yes, I agree but I am still tempted to have a go if it's a simple case of slotting the new one down the front of the rad and attaching the inlet/outlet pipes...

I have just bought a new Bosch Air Flow meter for my car. Problem is I don't appear to have one currently fitted. Can anyone help me locate it? My vehicle which is a C Class 250TD Sport Tip estate was regestered in September 2000 so I assume it has the W202 unit. Many thanks.
