Sadly I have no direct experience, Beaconsfield was the dealer that my car went to directly before I picked it up to have the gearbox and diff oil done (the place I bought the car from passed on the receipt to me and seemed to like them).

Main dealer will change your diff oil no matter what age the car. Labour cost will be higher, my E63S gearbox and diff oil was done recently at Beaconsfield Merc and cost approx £800 for both.

Yeah, you’ll find that you can lock and unlock the doors and see the status of other doors/boot/bonnet etc but not control them. Pretty sure it’s EU regs to thank for that. Same reason the easy entry/exit function only moves the steering wheel theee days and not the drivers seat ☹️

You're lucky you got a dealer who actually knows these cars, which dealer did you buy from if you don't mind me asking? When I was buying my C63, I called lots of dealers and not one of them gave me any confidence they knew anything about the cars they were selling.

Buying either of those will definitely get you on first name terms with all the mechanics at your local LR dealership anyway 😂
