    W123 Transmission

Morning everybody, So, I've just had a full engine rebuild on my 230te and it runs beautifully and for the first time doesn't leak. But.... The gear changes on the transmission are now all over the place. It'll still change up but only when it gets to 3000 revs. Or alternatively when i lift...

    W123 temperamental wipers

Definitely makes a difference depending on the position of the indicator stalk, yes. Almost like there's a loose connection in there somewhere. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Wanted: 1985 W123 estate blower motor.

It's not air con, just regular heating. Some further hunting round suggests it might we 1238200142 (has the taller mount and different electrics). And seem a bit harder to find/no URO replacement from what I can see. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Wanted: 1985 W123 estate blower motor.

The blower motor on my w123 has gone. Trying to find a replacement part. Just taken delivery of a URO replacement which presumably fits some models and the fan is too large and the electrical connections are different (replacement has 2 not 4). The original part (Behr) is has a taller motor...

Should I buy new or used this time of year?

I had a demonstrator as a courtesy car a few years ago...It had the mileometer disconnected. Often the finance percentage the can offer on new is a lot lower than on used so finance deals on new cam work out a lot cheaper. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

    W123 Estate: heater blower

Ok. Got the heater out. Doesn't spin freely at all. Suspect it needs replacing but there's no part number on the black outer casing. On the blower it is marked as a Behr part and there is a number (90.413.00.887). And looking at the part it seems to have the same connections as the aftermarket...

    W123 Estate: heater blower

The heater blower on my 123 estate is noisy as hell. I want to replace it out. But I'm damned if I can spot it. I see nothing that looks anything like the drawing in the manual. Help gratefully received. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

    W123 Estate wanted

I'm after a w123 estate. Preference is a 230te but I'll consider other variants. I'm not in the market for some of the high priced ones knocking about - want a cheap maintainable classic for everyday driving. Please let me know if you have anything suitable. Thanks
