Just dropped in my 2012 E250 CDI for service. I was informed that were also doing a "service care" which would take till 5pm. When I asked what this was, I was informed they were replacing the injectors, wiring, etc. I was like EXCUSE ME?! You're doing what?! They never informed me of this...

I had a 7G on my C63 and it was lovely and smooth. Got it again on my E250, and once again I haven't been disappointed, very smooth and don't even notice gear changes. Very economical too in comfort / economy mode.

I'm also fed up with people tailgating me on that 50mph stretch. I simply set my cruise control to 50 and that's that. I always end up with some plonker up my backside for miles and miles, very annoying! I'd rather they just overtook me than do that!

Having traded in my C63, I now have a full set of tyres I need to get rid of. I took them off the car at 7000 miles. They are the original tyres which were on the car from the factory. The rear tyres are approximately half worn and the front tyres are not worn much at all. Sorry I can't be...

Driving around town you will only get about 35mpg from the diesel, I have an E250, and that's driving sensibly. Motorway / dual carriageways I've managed 56mpg driving sensibly.

I haven't yet tried the parking guidance feature on my E250 as I don't feel the need. Front and rear parking sensors are sufficient to help me park.

Well lets face it, it is a coupe... I think you're expecting far too much practicality. With respect to the MPG, it might change over time as you have a new engine. Mine only has 400 miles on it now and I was getting 45 MPG on a 2-mile commute home, not doing more than 30mph at any point...

I have found that the headlamps on my E250 come on too soon when it is set to Auto. It only has to be slightly dark and they come on. The sensor wasn't that sensitive on my C63.

Keep the Evo X. The only car I miss is an Impreza STI PPP I used to own.
