thank you DSM10000 I did tell them the make of my caliper which are lucas and i am using brembo brake pads but still could not tell me whether I could use brembo brake disc or not and I did ask the MB for a pair of rear disk but the price is £100+ each.

thank you Del80y ,I would try the Textar E-pad because it is the dust I was concern about ,all I have to do is to find local mechanic to have them fitted for under £70 because that is what they are offering to fit both front and rear pads if I buy the pads from them,thank you again for your help

yes, opened it from inside, there is a plastic cover you have to remove and unclip the lock to open the boot, apparently the boot being jammed has nothing to do with the Sam and I have been given a £720 shock by MB for replacing the Sam unit :wallbash: that is without fixing the boot! do not...

update ,I just had the car checked by mb mechanic and I was told the SAM unite is gone and the hole box need to be change and he told me it will not be cheap , if anybody have had the same experience I would appreciate any advice on how to do it myself and the price of the unit please.:wallbash:
