Possible to add and activate STH heater on E55 model?
I'd love to install a Webasto heater kit on my 2005 E55 and I believe I can make it fit and route all the waterhoses and stuff so my plan is to buy a complete kit for say an W211 E500 but i'm worried that when it comes to activating it in STAR it might be impossible? 602.982 engine wih a Injection pump from another mercedes engine?
Spoke with a lad who had fitted a w123 with a 602.982 engine/drivetrain from a wrecked W210 290 TD -97 that someone had fitted an injectionpump from another type mercedes diesel engine..... Leak between injectionpump/shutoff valve W210 E300TD
Got the common leak where the oring is between the valve and pumphousing, it seeped diesel right above it.
