Remove the shockers and swap them over, I did this with my W203 and it was cured, the top mount bushes had obviously become compressed, better handling too.

I think I'd return it for an alternative one, presumably faulty from manufacture.

TBH I've turned mine off on the binnacle display, this is because I like the current road speed showing up and when the Road Sign Assist pops up it blanks this out. I do tend to look at the sat nav screen for the speeds instead.

If the drift pins have been hammered lots because they were stuck, they have likely expanded now and will need drilling out carefully.

Maybe worth giving her a sevice if not done recently too. Air filters make a big difference.

I managed to get hold of a 12v socket from the luggage area an S204 and I fitted to my W204 using the same fuse point on the SAM, works a treat when ignition on, I could have put it onto a constant 12v point, but, not worth killing the battery by mistake!

If levels OK it could be the electro plate, if so a good Auto Trans Garage can get yours repaired as opposed to a new plate... Had this on my 5g box several years ago! Hope it is just your level, but if only that, get the oil and filter changed as insurance..
