Easy to change - I torx screw - the electrics for the light come through the clip - so if you get a complete visor - just replace and as soon as you clip the visor in place - lights will work!

Try disconnecting the battery (both cables) touch both positive and earth cables together - this should (in theory) discharge any "memory" in CPU's. Can't guarantee it will work - but it did for my Jag S-Type when I had similar issues!
