    STwat - That's a thought. I changed the rotor on buying the car 3 years back, but left the cap and leads unchanged. This weekend I am dedicating to finding the issue, and solving it. I have an '89 230E ( injection ). I'm wondering if the cap is the same, just to see if it makes a difference...
