OK, Thanks for the interest anyway. P.S. there's nothing wrong with 6' 2" gorillas with barn door torsos (sounds like me:D).

Thanks for the insight and good wishes - from your experience I guess if you qualified you'd be happy do do something similar again? I can say it's not £120, but it is a reasonable amount and there may be a cup of tea too:). Sorry for sounding vague - I'm just wary of the internet wierdos...

Any of you folk bikers? A chance to ride a prototype!!!!

OK straight talking here as I've seen some scams over the years too. This is my wife's (fledgling, hence the lack of detail on the domain) market research company who have been approached to fill slots at this particular event. She is actively recruiting and if you want to meet we will be...

Any of you folk bikers? A chance to ride a prototype!!!!

Looking for bikers (the motorised kind :) ) in the Farnborough area who would be interested in attending a customer 'clinic'. This is where a manufacturer shows prototypes and in this case a lucky few will get to ride them.:bannana: You must be a bike owner and your bike should be younger...

Re dynoed my K2 E55 again

A well respected chap on many forums - his rollers are known for being pretty accurate as he's completely independent. Did you have a look at the graphs on the wall? :D

    Remapping

I would disagree there - a map which takes the engine closer to the limits of it's power is more dangerous than a generic map which works within known tolerance levels that delivers a decent power increase without going to the extreme. After all it's what Prodrive do with the PPP - that's a...

    Views on aftermarket Aero-wipers?

No, not the Bosch ones. I was referring to HR17s mention of wiperblades.co.uk - while they stock the Bosch ones they also do some cheaper versions - it's the cheap ones I'd steer you away from, the Bosch are now back on the car :)

    Views on aftermarket Aero-wipers?

Interesting - those are the ones I bought and on two different cars neither worked well and one set was binned after less than a months use.

    Views on aftermarket Aero-wipers?

From experience I would say always go the proper Bosch aeros, probably the best wipers on the market. I did try some of the retro fit blades from these guys Windscreen Wiper Blades - Bosch, Valeo, Trico, Trupart, Champion Windscreen Wipers and I should've paid the premium for the Bosch ones...

Im going to buy a Hyundai !! Id like your thoughts

Make sure you check the cushioning on the middle seat. With the transmission tunnel on the X3 I've found the centre seat is noticeably harder than the outer 2. I realise you're putting seats on it but just a thought for the future when the small ones grow out of it.

    Mercedes Benz Live - Pictures

I'm tempted to agree and can see your point of view, but I can understand from MB marketing angle too. It was a taster for many who've never seen these things and for the fans who just wanted to see the drivers. As a seasoned motorsport participant/organiser then yes I can see that 4 laps of...

    Free Mercedes world event

I know we're supposed to put pics in the other thread, but I can't complete with the quality of those and this is a big thanks to Graeme from two very happy children:D My 6 year old son took this one from my shoulders - he and his sister were just transfixed by being so close to 'that man' Lewis.

    Pre Brooklands Meet

Slivermere has a bar and restaurant, but you may be better aiming for Sainsburys at Cobham, it's just off the A3 and has a coffee shop.
