hi as per title any opinions on crewe engines? 2.3 16v w201 with big end failure by the sounds of it. 120k on clock am thinking bite the bullet and go for a full engine remanufacture from them. would like some opinions if poss.

what a coincidence that i am also looking for a replacement one of these and am alo a MB enthusiast i have 2 of these surge masters 1st one has the same main power switch problem second has the problem on the aux1 switch have never been able to find a good replacement any one...

well seeing as your all admiring nicks car from our club here a pic of mine also .

just get it completly fluid changed.. i.e the whole lot to merc specs and you will be fine.. drain everythig and start a fresh you got a reference point for all fluids then .. thats what i do with all my new stuff .... down to draining the brake fluid etc..

a gen one is v hard to find. you can get an evo11 rep kit from reiger but it is obviously not as good as the real thing.. i.e rear window diffuser is different rear spoiler is non adjustable alo the front spoiler doesnt have an adjustable diffuser. evo1 kits even harder to find!!!! ive...
