running a sub wire from battery to in the car?

It's a long shot but if you look under the spare wheel in the boot and remove all the tools and things, there should be a rubber grommit there, i think it must be a water drain of some description in the coupe, i used it to wire in my front parking sensors. No reason why you couldn't cable tie...

    Mercedes diagnostic equipment

Hi there, do you think the carsoft kit would do the coding then, my car is on a 56 plate. Are all kits like this worth avoiding then? I assumed other than a STAR kit they all pretty much did the basic functions! thanks again.

Mine is the same, it only blows cold on 'lo' setting if I set temp to 17 or above on either driver or passenger side it blows hot air, not warm, but red hot air even with a/c switched on... It may be because I swapped my thermatic unit to a thermotronic one, but even after replacing the unit...

    interior lighting wiring

Hi guys, I've done this myself and it's really very easy... I wired in door lights as opposed to footwell lights but in principal it's the same wiring pins in the door control unit that you need to take the feed from, you just need to position the light fitting somewhere in the footwell for best...

    W203 Climate Control Rest Function

Cheers Guys, I think the look of the unit is a lot better than standard (That's pretty much the sole reason for retrofitting it!) I just thought maybe the REST function could be programmed on the unit itself using some of the on board diagnostics, either that or my car requires some extra bits...

Hi all, Yesterday I bought a Thermotronic unit from R2D2 from this forum for a very reasonable price if I say so myself! It arrived this morning, had it fitted in half an hour, began the normalising function and after about 1 minute the unit worked perfectly.... A couple of things regarding...
