Hi, I've got hold of a new indicator unit from Mercedes and at the moment can't figure out how to take the mirror apart in order to fit it. Does anyone have any ideas? All the instructions I seem to find are for the earlier style W211 mirrors. Mine are as pictured below. Cheers

I pulled mine appart trying to replace the bulb and all the springs came out and its a mess so i need a new one. Merc say they only sell the complete unit with the 4 window switches and the mirror adjustment swtich and cost £160 ish. :crazy: I only want the joystick unit and it ealsiy unplugs...

Whilst looking for a cheapo run about on ebay I spied a skoda for 99p, but it has absolutly no description. I guessed that was because it was a skoda so he didn't feel he could really say anymore, cos at the end of the day it still a skoda, so why bother. But looking at the sellers other items...

Still looking for my leater and theres a few W124 estates with leather but would the rear seats be the same as in my saloon? I know my fuel tank is behind mine and it somewhere else in the estate but does that mean the seats are different? do they fold down in the estate?

At least i think thats what it is. Its a small looking motor sitting above what looks like 2 fuel lines on the driverside near the top mount. Anyway thats what it is and its running all the time when the ignition is on! I think i'm right in thinking it shouldn't so whats gone wrong? (its a W124...

I think my car still has the original windscreen and after 185K it's starting to show. Even when just after I have washed it I can see all these very fine scratches. At night lights look streeky like the windscreen is dirty but its not. Anyone have any ideas how to polish them out? there must be...

My auto box changes are a bit jerky. It gets better when warmed up but still not silky smooth. It jurks changing up to 2nd and 3rd but to 4th its ok. It seems to be smoother at very light acceleration and heavy acceleration but during normal driving its a bit annoying. The down changes are fine...
