OK...update.....Cleaned the lene with a branded cd lense cleaner.....no effect. I disconnected the battery for 1hr......still the same error. The Nav/MAP/audio CD and everything elses seems to work fine, except DVD's Doh ! IceBoy

Hi All, I get the same symptoms. The car E320 cdi s211 53-reg. The car, only when cold, has a droning sound when coming off the gas, and at 30mph on a gentle throtle between 1300-1600rpm the revs go up and down and I get a TC lock-up feeling/shudder, not really that bad but just annoying...

OK, I have checked the region setting and it is multi region. I will try a disc cleaner and if not take the battery off again. Does anyone know if both batteries need to be disconnected or just the main one? IceBoy

Hi All, I replaced the battery on my E320 cdi w211 53-reg AG estate. I managed to reset the windows but my DVD player no longer works. No matter what DVD I put in the thing whirs and then DVD error appears on screen. Then it says no disc?? CDs work, nav works......help Iceboy

Everytime I un lock the car I get a buzzing/ABS type sound for about 10 seconds.....I guess this is the SBC failure then. Lots spent, very sad.......I just dont have anymore money to spend on it. I will phone the MB dealer to discuss. IceBoy
