    380sl 1984

    Hi, My MB 380SL from 1984, stalls or at least hesitates when hot and starting from a standstill at a redlight or so. Also when the engine is warm and you want to start it, it rotates many times before it fires up. It has only been driven some 85000 km so far. Any ideas what could be the problem...

    Stalling engine MB 380SL 1984

    The CO is just fine, had it checked some 2 months ago. I actually had a mechanic look at it a couple of years ago who said that most likely it's one or more of the injectors that leak but i thought i'd ventilate it a bit in this forum to get a second opinion before i start tearing down the engine.

    Hi, My MB 380SL from 1984 with an automatic transmission stalls or at least hesitates when hot and starting from a standstill at a redlight or so. It has only been driven some 85000 km so far and I've had it since 1985. Any ideas what could be the problem? BR Martin :confused:
