The amount of time it seems to take my car to kick down then accelerate when I boot it makes me wonder if removing the kick switch from the accelerator pedal may improve things. Has anyone done this, are there any implications?

I have had recent issues with leaks into a coupe, a real nightmare. I cleaned all the channels running from under the front screen, the ones at the side drain through the wings behind both the wheels, remove the plastic pegs at the bottom of the wheel arch and remove the sludge from there...

Happy to say the faults appear to have gone, clearing the drainage channel is a must. Parking under the tree on my driveway has now become a no no.
