Hi all! Happy New Year!! My w202 (1998) has a major boot lid problem. The catch has bent right over and it wont close. I managed to bend it back in place but not a great fix.. it now closes but I dare not open it again! :crazy: Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement? ebay...

Hi thanks for reply! Yes all manual seats so no wiring. The doner I was thinking is more or less identical.. its a 1997, its got the more "aggressive" bumpers. Yeah thats was going to be my next questiuon regarding the door cards - will be careful with them. Thanks for your help! Ollie

Hi All, My W202 sport (2000) would not select into reverse this morning. The ESP/BAS light has come on. I had to call out a recovery truck via my insurance. The mechanic found the hidden switch to engage the selector and selected reverse to get out of the car parking space, I drove home...

thing is it does look pretty dirty, even saw a decaying wasp right deep inside :eek: I know you dont see it but a mechanic does when it goes in for a service, I know he may not care if it dirty but it will show I care for the motor ;)
