All, DVD containing disk is in the boot. Took the unit out today, managed to get the disk out, cleaned it as it was very dirty, reassembled it and the navigation now functions fine. Thanks to everyone for taking the time and effort to answer.:)

I assume not because I tried to load in another cd and it won't enter.

Hi, Just got the message "Navigation device not available" on my Command fitted to a 2004 W211 E270 CDI. I cannot eject the disk from the drive either. Have searched many posts without any specific answers, can anyone please help? Thanks.

Thermostat change Thanks to everybody for their contribution, I did the job today. Just recycled the current antifreeze although will need a small top up. Cheers
