    W124 bonnet emblem

Replied. I managed to source one through my mechanic mate who helped me with my recent front roll bar clunk issues. Seems his Uncle is a big Merc fan and recently scrapped a W124. So got it this morning, fiddled a bit with WD40 and some pliers - jobs a good 'un and the car no longer looks...

    Detailed my 'Luftwaffer' yesterday finally!!

I considered taking the towbar off but it's sorting the wire connections out. Do they just chop off or is there a bit of work involved? Thought it may be a selling point to as it looks genuine Mercedes (or an expensive one) :) I think I prefer the bumper inserts black. Cars filthy again now...

Thanks guys. Lets just say although uber reliable and cheap to run the pug was just that a runaround. The Merc actually gets looks and comments. It's not mint but looks good for 20. No pics of the engine bay, could get a couple of the interior.

    Slight clunk in steering wheel

Well today was the day when my mate had the car round his. Well actually took it last night for him and he jacked it up ready for today. Changed the inner link, 4 anti-roll bar bushes, fitted all new copper brake pipe for each corner as well as a complete brake fluid change too, did an oil...

Happened to me a few nights back, hole in my shiny grill now 'til I buy a replacement. Gonna see what the stealers quote for a new 'un before trying s/h on eBay. Are genuine ones chrome or stainless steel?

    Little scrotes

Cheers gents. I've looked on eBay and it seems I need the one without the text on it as it fits on my grill. May try the dealers as I'd like a genuine part over a non genuine/second hand part. The one nicked was in minty mint mint condition so a new one would be nice.
