    Mercedes Enthusiast Magazines offered (2003 - 2010)

Would anybody like to collect a whole pile of Mercedes Enthusiast magazines, from 2003 to around 2010 - all years and months in between from my annual subscriptions. All kept in nice condition in official binders. I can't remember exactly last edition, but I can check if necessary. I need the...

    220CE (1993) Towing weights

Haven't got the caravan yet, so not sure what tow assembly will be (a stab head what!!). Spoke to my specialist, he's got an MB bar for £75 brand new which seems quite good, and the fitting and electrics are on top, so I'm estimating about £300??

    220CE (1993) Towing weights

That's all useful stuff. I need to have a look at these websites then. Interesting you say a 124 estate would be better. I did almost persuade myself over the last few days that I needed an E320 estate (124) if we got a caravan, due to the rear suspension (do all the E Class estates have...

    220CE (1993) Towing weights

Thanks for that. So, what is the actual weight (as opposed to gross)? We are new to caravanning (haven't got one yet), so trying to keep hold my coupe rather than swap it for a caravan club Rover 75. :D

    220CE (1993) Towing weights

Hi I have a 1993 220CE 124 Coupe, and thinking of getting a caravan to tow (upgrading from our camping holidays). I have been looking at all the caravan towing weight discussions on this forum, and the subject appears to provoke a lot of confusion. So, I am trying to find out what I can...

    South West

Parkway Engineering in Fishponds, Bristol (0117 965 6164) are excellent. They specialise in Mercs, but also have an awful lot of other german machinery, eg. Porsche, BMW, Audi, Jaguar etc. I've seen Ferraris in there too. Well recommended. I've been taking my C124 there for the last few years.

    CL500 or E320 Coupe (W124)

Well, many thanks to you all on your very valuable input. As a newby, I've often visited this site, but not contributed before, so thanks very much. I've now got some thinking to do - nobody has scared me off a 140 so far, although the E36 does sound appealing. I don't think I'll go for an...

    CL500 or E320 Coupe (W124)

I was afraid you were going to say that (about how good the V8 was). I've been a Merc follower for the last 4 years or so, so just love the teutonic build quality of these (especially the 124's and the 140's). The other option was for an E/C36 AMG, but reading lots about W210's quality...

    CL500 or E320 Coupe (W124)

Hello, this is my first time..., so please bear with me! I currently have a 220CE. Looking to replace it with something with more poke and grandeur, but need to consider running costs too. My head says an E320 Coupe (124) but my heart says CL500 (140). They can both be had for under £10k)...
